For many years, Folklife has used woodcut-style illustrations by Joseph Crawhall of Newcastle-upon-Tyne (1821-1896)
We've been using the region 'Yorkshire & the Humber'. We enquired & find that folk in the ‘N. Lincs’ & ‘N. E. Lincs’ areas of the former Humberside would, not surprisingly, prefer to be Lincolnshire ~ so now all of Lincolnshire (including former Humberside areas) will be under ‘East Midlands’.
Therefore, our East Midlands page would look something like this - with added Lincolnshire - Jan and Paul’s news (in May FW under Yorks & Humber on p.38 as printed & on PDF download of May issue). Plus, since publication, we have added LEICESTERSHIRE FOLK DIARY.

Note - for Sept. 2025 , we'll be adding FOLKONWIGHT, as below.

Note - for Sept. 2025 , we'll be adding FASH & SOLENT WAVES, as below.
