LAUNCESTON FOLK CLUB 🄵: FOLK NIGHTS & SONGWRITERS' OPEN MIKE. Both at Keep Audio Co., 2, Southgate Place, Launceston. Folk Night, 1st Wednesday, 7pm. Songwriters' Open Mike, 3rd Wednesday, 7pm.
Folk Night: come together and play, sing, or listen in an informal and relaxed setting. Open to anyone in the community you can meet friends and have a coffee and browse the vinyl in the 'Music Cafe' and join in if you want to. Simply turn up, grab a drink, and get your instrument out. This is a free event.
Songwriters' Open Mike: air your original material and meet other local musicians in a friendly and supportive environment whether you have just written your first song or are a seasoned songwriter. In the fabulous intimate environment of the 'Music Cafe' Bakehouse, there is a PA in situ. Just turn up and let Emma know that you want to play. Or just want to come along and listen, an opportunity to meet friends and enjoy a chilled out evening with music from great local talent. This is a free event.
