Folklife Traditions Journal & Directory:

Our old site www.folklife-traditions.uk has been moved here; that web address now redirects here.
"More Details for new readers"  follows "Index to FT Journal webpages" ~

Index to FT Journal webpages

Pages under main headings "FT Journal & Directory" and  "FTJ Archive"
FT Journal & Directory    is this webpage, with subpages as below

FTJ Archive    is another webpage on this site, with subpages as below

ISSUES listed below.   All have links to each issue: free PDFs downloads & list of contents.  FWJ 01 to FT 56 are also on Issuu e-magazine site.
  • ✅  FWJ 01-09  ~ Folklife West Journal, published irregularly.   Renamed as Folklife Traditions, from FT 09
Renumbered to be same number as Folklife Quarterly issues (FT becoming pages within FQ), so FT 36 is after FT 09.
  • ✅   FT 36-46    ~ Folklife Traditions, published as part of Folklife Quarterly
  • ✅   FT 47-56    ~ Folklife Traditions, published as part of Folklife Quarterly
  • ✅   FT 57-66    ~ Folklife Traditions, published as part of Folklife Quarterly which became Folklife West as now 3/year
Name changed to Folklife Traditions Journal (with Zoom & a new world-wide audience, the term 'Journal'  flags up it's not a folk-news magazine)
  • ✅   FTJ 67-73    ~ Folklife Traditions Journal, published as part of Folklife West
  • ✅   FTJ 74-80   ~ Folklife Traditions Journal, published separately (as combined magazine became too big to edit in time for publishing date)
Single Issues   ✅  Each has index, pdf, plus pictures (jpegs) of pages as printed.   From FT-65 (Sept 2020)
Suggestions welcome, bearing in mind we are print editors, without web expertise, with limited time. Tech-savvy volunteers always welcome, especially anyone knowing about databases! For example, our Articles Index is a simple list, & would be better as a spreadsheet, & ideally as a database.

Ideally ... we'd like a volunteer web editor to run this site, whilst we concentrate on print editing and producing the magazines.
